I have recently begun studying African at Uhuru Dancers, and hip-hop at TADA. In addition to training, I have been working on choreographing for several dance projects of my own, participating in Flash mobs, working with other choreographers as a talent and/or dancer in their projects, and working with local artists as their backup dancer and/or choreographer.
I’ve had many struggles in dance; majority of my struggles have been internal. When I was a kid, I struggled with my self-esteem and caring too much about what people would think about me dancing. This played a huge role in me giving up dance for a long time. When I started back dancing, I allowed passion to take over and I realized that you should care what people think.
